FCN Biz DIY is an ongoing membership to provide you with the tools to run a successful coaching business. With your Biz DIY membership you get access to trainings, action plans, a custom website and payment processor, the Knowledge Center, resources, templates, community forums + chat, and more. By using a subscription model, we're able to offer FCN Biz DIY for a low entry fee AND give you the control of how long to remain in the program. When you've outgrown the membership (hopefully in a year or so!), you can cancel it or move into FCN Biz-in-a-Box or MoneyCoach Network, our coaching programs for those who want more support in running their financial coaching businesses.

FCN Biz DIY is designed in phases with a successful Launch just the beginning. The next phases are devoted to deeper dives into developing your coaching process, marketing, sales, operations, and other elements of your business. And you'll be provided with the resources and support you need to find success including:

• Training videos
• Regular open office hours with the FCN Team
• Monthly checklists and to-do lists (directions on what you should do each month in your business)
• A monthly Mastermind Agenda to guide you and your Mastermind group in valuable discussions
• New videos in and ongoing access to the Knowledge Center (to help you serve clients better s well as deal with impostor syndrome)
• Guidance on further refining your business with access to the Launch trainings and resources to revisit and refine the key components of your business.

The short answer is: YES! You absolutely can build, grow, and run a financially successful coaching business. The 4-month Launch course walks you step-by-step through creating the foundational pieces you'll need in place in order to give you the greatest chance at being successful.

Immediately after you begin your FCN Biz DIY Membership, you will have access to the Biz DIY Community, Knowledge Center, and Crash Course.

You will also receive your first Home(office)Work assignment providing guidance for brainstorming and considering how you want your business to develop.

You'll then start Launch (with your cohort if you joined with one!), which is a 4-month guided process of successfully developing and launching your business. Through the process you'll

• create your sales pitches
• develop your marketing materials
• set up your custom website and the rest of the included FCN Tech Stack
• set a foundation for everything else you need to run your successful, legit business.

After the 4-months, the ongoing support continues with

• the FCN tech stack
• To Do checklists with action items for the month
• the FCN Knowledge Center
• monthly Mastermind agendas
• and other resources to help know what you need to do you grow to your first $10,000 in annual revenue.

First of all, there's nothing wrong with not knowing. It's important that you know financial coaching and running your own business is right for you before taking that leap.

If you're unsure, our Crash Course gives you a high level overview of what financial coaching is and what's involved in running your own financial coaching business. 

For a small cost and five hours of your time, you'll get A LOT more clarity on whether this path is one you want to commit going down. 

Yes! If you follow the Launch program through each week, you will be sharing your new financial coaching business with the world at the end of the four months :)

You can launch a business faster, of course, but the word "successfully" is important.

And after, you'll get the resources and action plans you need to build your business and gain clients. 

It will vary depending on the person. If this is your first time starting a business, it will likely take you longer to do some of the steps than someone who's done it before.

During Launch, the first 4-month part of the membership, each week has 2-3 hours of video content, as well as "to-dos" and assignments to actually launch your business. So expect to spend 4-5 hours at minimum, occasionally more on some weeks.

After the first 4-month Launch, the pace slows some and you can expect to spend just a couple hours a week on FCN Biz DIY resources. But you'll also be working on gaining clients, running your business, and helping the crap out of people with their finances.

No - During Launch we want to ensure that you are successful in your Launch, and after 20+ years of doing this Josh has found that rushing through this process reduces success. You'll want to take your time and make the most advantage of this opportunity.

After the first 4-months of Launch, you will be able to work on multiple aspects of your business at once, with a guided process of what to do at a minimum each month provided by FCN Biz DIY.

There is a $400 up-front fee in the first month for the initial setup of Biz DIY, then a monthly fee $115/mo for the ongoing membership (pricing as of 2026).

To make sure we can continue to provide these benefits and add to them, prices raise 3% annually to account for inflation and avoid any huge price hikes in the future!
